Biography

The Algerian international is one of the most prolific strikers in Qatar Stars League history. Bounedjah once scored 39 league goals in a single season for Al Sadd — a record that still stands — and famously netted the winning goal for Algeria in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations final. A relentless penalty-box predator, he thrives on crosses, rebounds and set pieces, and his partnership with Akram Afif remains one of the most feared in Asian club football.
